Main Pool.  All new swimmers, swimmers requiring a swim aid (bubbles, tubes, life jackets, etc,) and children under the age of 13 who have not passed the deep water test, must be supervised by an adult member (16 years or older) at all times.  The lifeguard cannot be expected to baby-sit while on duty as a lifeguard.

Children aged 8 and over or those who have completed the 2nd grade, will be accorded full pool privileges under the supervision of a lifeguard, provided they have passed the following deep water test:Swim 2 lengths of the pool (any stroke) without stopping; Tread water for at least 2 1/2 minutes in the deep end; Under water swim and breath control (1 width and turn under water on 1 breath).

Please remember that this is a privilege and if your child is not following the rules and obeying the lifeguards, parents will be notified.  If the behavior continues, the privilege will be suspended.  Anyone interested in taking the test should arrange it with the lifeguard.

All members must sign in upon entering the pool.  Any member who has not paid their required fees (dues and  work assessment) will be denied use of the pool.  An eligible list of members will be provided to the lifeguards.

Snack  Bar.  The snack bar at the pool is an honor system and all members are expected to pay for their refreshments.  Children 6 and under should be accompanied by an adult when making their purchases. Parents should reinforce the importance of honesty with all their children in using the snack bar and should try, when possible, to provide the child with exact change for his/her purchases.  Children should also be reminded to close the refrigerator, freezer and cash box after any purchases.  All school-aged guests must be accompanied by a member when using the snack bar.

Members are encouraged to eat all snacks outside of the immediate pool area whenever possible, and absolutely no glass containers are allowed inside the pool area.

Adults should continually reinforce this with their children and follow up to make sure they are picking up after themselves.

Members are expected to dispose of any trash or recycling on the pool grounds and should carefully police their area before departing the picnic and pool areas.

Members are permitted full use of the gas grills and tables in the picnic area and are requested to relinquish them when they have finished eating so that others may enjoy their use.  Grills should be brushed down with a wire brush after use and any tool or utensil provided by the club should be cleaned and put back in its proper place.  Grills should be turned off and propane tanks shut off by the valve after use.  If any of the propane tanks becomes empty, the member should inform the lifeguard so that plans can be made to have it refilled.

The club will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

Parking on streets near the pool is discouraged

Any property of the club that is broken, damaged, or removed with proper authority by a member or his guest shall be promptly reported to the lifeguard.  The member must pay for the repair or replacement of such property.
